This Penn State Varsity jacket was framed using a dark blue suede mat behind the jacket. The jacket was mounted on the blue suede which allowed the jacket to have depth which kept the 3 dimensional look. The inside of the jacket has the players name and the corner was sewn back showing the players name. The plaque was positioned in the lower left hand of the jacket, which allows the viewer to read the story of the jacket and brings the jacket and story to life. We then framed the jacket in a 2" deep blue metal frame, which allowed the jacket to be the focal point of the framing. The frame softly puts invisible boundaries on the complete job. It was then finished with museum glass,
which is a clear glass that minimizes the glare.
